Welcome to Neighbor to Neighbor, a simplified social networking service designed to help the people of Phelps County connect with others in the region to Find Friends, make a Request for Services or Request for Items, find Roommates or find Pets. We’ve even included a Lost and Found.
Here’s how it works. Once you Register and Login, you can post a message in one of our categories. There is no charge. Simply choose Post to: Neighbor to Neighbor, fill out the form and click submit. If your message is approved for posting, it will appear on the site within one business day. Postings expire and must be renewed every 30 days.
To respond to a post, simply click on it, fill out the form that pops up and click Send. Your message is automatically sent through justtheplacenebraska.com to maintain the anonymity of the person posting. Of course, if you’re making a post and anonymity is not a big deal to you, you can include your phone or email in your message.
Rules of use
This service is not intended for commercial purposes. It is for requesting a babysitter, a handyman or a CPA. It’s for requesting a good used lawnmower or tickets to a Huskers game. We will not approve postings we deem to be commercial or promotional. Pets offered must be free.
Similarly, we will not approve postings to the Find Friends section for anyone looking for “discrete afternoon fun” or anything of the sort. There are other sites intended for that. We’re thinking more about “seeking exercise partner” or “bridge-playing couple seeks same”.
